Audi Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Audi cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in February the average price was ₦ 3,872,069. March went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₦ 4,608,284. During the following two months (April, May) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 51 % from ₦ 4,240,176.5 to ₦ 6,383,519. In the last two, the price has gone through a -9 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from ₦ 5,311,848 to ₦ 4,838,968.5 during June and July.
The average price for Audi has had a strong rise in recent years. During the first sample analyzed ("before 2000" - 2011), the average selling price stood at ₦ 616,387.62. During this time, the price for "before 2000" which was ₦ 619,259 decreased to ₦ 545,254 during 2011. During the next two years (2012, 2013), the average price went up 15 % moving from !PRECIO1! to ₦ 706,280, During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 79 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₦ 3,441,733.75) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2014, 2015) with a price of ₦ 6,177,187.5.
The graph that displays the price for Audi cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "10,000 - 25,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 86 % more affordable than the average price (₦ 4,313,687). Next with a price of ₦ 684,940 and a mileage range of "more than 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "50,000 - 100,000". It is 67% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "less than 10,000" priced at ₦ 1,355,906.
