Buick Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Buick cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price for October is ₦ 500,000. During November there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till ₦ 449,375. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -9 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two, the price has gone through a -7 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from ₦ 453,733.75 to ₦ 420,829 during February and March.
The average price for Buick has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2010, the average price is ₦ 429,172.69. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₦ 262,500) moving up till (₦ 387,143)in 2010. During the next two years the average price(₦ 438,920.5) has hardly changed, remaining at a constant value compared to the previous period. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 8 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₦ 475,015.75) and the the last two years that were studied (2013, 2014) with a price of ₦ 511,111.
The graph that displays the price for Buick cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 9 % more affordable than the average price (₦ 413,125). Next with a price of ₦ 394,848 and a mileage range of "less than 10,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "more than 200,000". It is 66% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" and a price of ₦ 442,500.
