MG Vehicles have had a price that has remained pretty much the same during the last months. The prices for this particular model have remained constant recently.
The selling prices for MG cars have remained constant in the last 6 months. In October the price for a car is ₦ 407,342 increasing till ₦ 443,953 in November. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from ₦ 425,647.5 to ₦ 408,877.5. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₦ 417,262.5 to ₦ 397,715.5 during February and March.
The average price for MG has gone down in recent years. Between "before 2000" y 2008, the average price is ₦ 422,083.25. There was a price inflation going from (₦ 500,000) to (₦ 550,000). During the next two years (2009, 2010) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 21 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -13 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample (₦ 453,461.5) and the the last two years analyzed (2011, 2012) with a price of ₦ 394,923.
