The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -36 % compared to the previous two months studied. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -73 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from ₦ 2,395,778 to ₦ 645,350.
The average price for Cadillac Escalade has had a strong rise in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from 2004 to 2008, the average price was ₦ 881,458.5. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between 2004 (₦ 966,667) and 2008 (₦ 796,250). During the next two years (2009, 2010) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 48 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 23 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years.
