Ford Edge Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Ford Edge cars have increased during the last 6 months. The average price in February was of ₦ 6,547,250. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at ₦ 6,770,375 during March. During the following two months (April, May) the average selling price rose somewhat going from ₦ 6,658,812.5 to ₦ 7,021,375. The average price has risen 6 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (₦ 7,276,500) during June and July.
The average price for Ford Edge has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2007 and 2014, the average price is ₦ 3,778,437.25. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2007 (₦ 2,347,127) moving up till (₦ 4,627,548)in 2014. During the next two years (2015, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 192 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 12 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₦ 12,497,916) and the the last two years that were studied (2017, 2018) with a price of ₦ 13,966,666.
The graph that displays the price for Ford Edge cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 55 % more affordable than the average price (₦ 7,193,125). Next with a price of ₦ 3,291,971 and a mileage range of "10,000 - 25,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "50,000 - 100,000". It is 24% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "less than 10,000" priced at ₦ 5,302,875.
