The selling price for Ford Edge cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. In October the average price per vehicle is ₦ 11,731,500. During November the price went trough a strong deflation till ₦ 9,823,625. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -44 % compared to the previous two months studied. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -58 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from ₦ 8,406,494 to ₦ 3,532,721.
The average price for Ford Edge has gone down in recent years. During the first sample analyzed (2007 - 2010), the average selling price stood at ₦ 3,521,367.25. During this time, the price for 2007 which was ₦ 3,908,000 decreased to ₦ 3,449,600 during 2010. During the next two years (2011, 2012), the average price went up 15 % moving from !PRECIO1! to ₦ 4,033,886.5, During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -14 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample (₦ 3,524,516.25) and the the last two years analyzed (2013, 2014) with a price of ₦ 3,015,146.
