Honda City Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Honda City cars have increased during the last 6 months. The average price in July was of ₦ 1,091,818. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at ₦ 1,062,976 during August. During the following two months (September, October) the average selling price rose somewhat going from ₦ 1,077,397 to ₦ 1,206,141.5. The average price has risen 9 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (₦ 1,248,693) during November and December.
The average price for Honda City has had a strong rise in recent years. During 2007 and 2008, the average price was ₦ 963,750. During this period, prices pretty much remained constant. During the next two years (2009, 2010) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 64 %. During the last two years the price has remained constant with regard to the previous 4 years, going from an average price of ₦ 1,606,060.75 in 2011 and ₦ 1,633,333.5 during 2012.
