Nissan Maxima Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Nissan Maxima cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. In September the average price per vehicle is ₦ 1,213,542. During October the price went trough a strong deflation till ₦ 973,478. During the following two months (November, December) the average selling price rose somewhat going from ₦ 1,093,510 to ₦ 1,151,925. The average price has risen 6 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (₦ 1,193,250) during January and February.
The average price for Nissan Maxima has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2009, the average price is ₦ 660,740.19. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₦ 300,000) moving up till (₦ 1,205,417)in 2009. During the next two years (2010, 2011) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 195 %. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -28 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample (₦ 1,524,826.5) and the the last two years (2012, 2013) with a price of ₦ 1,097,778.
The graph that displays the price for Nissan Maxima cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "25,000 - 50,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 52 % more affordable than the average price (₦ 1,188,125). Next with a price of ₦ 937,125 and a mileage range of "less than 10,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "100,000 - 200,000". It is 110% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "50,000 - 100,000" and a price of ₦ 1,963,000.
