Nissan Murano Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Nissan Murano cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in December the average price was ₦ 1,529,500. January went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₦ 1,931,625. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from ₦ 1,730,562.5 to ₦ 1,682,719. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₦ 1,706,640.75 to ₦ 1,756,096.5 during April and May.
The average price for Nissan Murano has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2003 and 2008, the average price is ₦ 1,488,907.38. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2003 (₦ 600,000) moving up till (₦ 2,714,444)in 2008. During the next two years (2009, 2010) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 31 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 41 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₦ 3,339,642.5) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2012, 2014) with a price of ₦ 4,723,333.
