Nissan Sunny Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Nissan Sunny cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in March the average price was ₦ 374,375. April went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₦ 622,667. During the following two months (May, June) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 59 % from ₦ 498,521 to ₦ 792,333.5. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₦ 645,427.25 to ₦ 660,160.5 during July and August.
The average price for Nissan Sunny has become more expensive in recent years. During "before 2000" and "before 2000", the average price was ₦ 613,462. During this period, prices pretty much remained constant. During the next two years (2007, 2009) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 60 %. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -42 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years.
