Peugeot 406 Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Peugeot 406 cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. In May the price for a car is ₦ 1,148,500 increasing till ₦ 1,315,500 in June. During the following two months (July, August) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 24 % from ₦ 1,232,000 to ₦ 1,529,806. The average price has risen 7 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (₦ 1,484,056) during September and October.
The average price for Peugeot 406 has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2005, the average price is ₦ 777,495.88. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₦ 590,000) moving up till (₦ 763,929)in 2005. During the next two years (2006, 2007) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 19 %. During the last two years the price has remained constant with regard to the previous 4 years, going from an average price of ₦ 928,259 in 2008 and ₦ 934,375 during 2009.
