Toyota Camry Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Toyota Camry cars have increased during the last 6 months. In March the price for a car is ₦ 14,772,169 increasing till ₦ 16,350,650 in April. During the following two months (May, June) the average selling price rose somewhat going from ₦ 15,561,410 to ₦ 17,300,812. In the last two, the price has gone through a -8 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from ₦ 16,431,111 to ₦ 15,189,188 during July and August.
The average price for Toyota Camry has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2016, the average price is ₦ 3,041,173. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₦ 856,563) moving up till (₦ 6,653,625)in 2016. During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 267 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -11 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample (₦ 10,071,522) and the the last two years analyzed (2019, 2020) with a price of ₦ 8,981,111.
