Toyota HiAce Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Toyota HiAce cars have increased during the last 6 months. In May the price for a car is ₦ 10,615,000 increasing till ₦ 11,633,750 in June. During the following two months (July, August) the average selling price rose somewhat going from ₦ 11,124,375 to ₦ 11,827,188. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₦ 11,475,782 to ₦ 10,919,804 during September and October.
The average price for Toyota HiAce has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2014, the average price is ₦ 4,585,156. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₦ 1,887,143) moving up till (₦ 10,356,407)in 2014. During the next two years (2015, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 153 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 6 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₦ 12,326,949) and the the last two years that were studied (2018, 2019) with a price of ₦ 13,064,790.
The graph that displays the price for Toyota HiAce cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 71 % more affordable than the average price (₦ 10,660,858). Next with a price of ₦ 3,202,632 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "25,000 - 50,000". It is 2% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "less than 10,000" priced at ₦ 8,449,622.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Toyota HiAce cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 94 % less expensive than the average market price (₦ 10,660,858) followed by "Petrol" priced at ₦ 4,208,851. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 61 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of ₦ 607,933.
