Toyota Picnic Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Toyota Picnic cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in June the average price was ₦ 1,586,500. July went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₦ 1,891,988. During the following two months (August, September) the average selling price rose somewhat going from ₦ 1,739,244 to ₦ 1,848,644. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₦ 1,793,944 to ₦ 1,817,700 during October and November.
The average price for Toyota Picnic has become more expensive in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2003, the average price is ₦ 1,575,867.25. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₦ 1,360,000) moving up till (₦ 1,822,222)in 2003. Cars belonging to the model aforementioned had a price deflation of -14 percent in the next two years (2004, 2005) compared to the previous two years. During the last two years the price has remained constant with regard to the previous 4 years, going from an average price of ₦ 1,298,861.25 in 2006 and ₦ 1,240,000 during 2007.
