Toyota Prius Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Toyota Prius cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price for October is ₦ 533,625. During November there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till ₦ 499,355. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from ₦ 516,490 to ₦ 494,922.5. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₦ 505,706.25 to ₦ 485,421 during February and March.
The average price for Toyota Prius has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2009, the average price is ₦ 492,797.56. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₦ 450,000) moving up till (₦ 691,250)in 2009. During the next two years (2010, 2011) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 235 %. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -31 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample (₦ 1,256,160.75) and the the last two years (2012, 2013) with a price of ₦ 862,321.5.

They are 16 % more affordable than the average price (₦ 475,625). Next with a price of ₦ 413,333 and a mileage range of "25,000 - 50,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "more than 200,000". It is 107% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "less than 10,000" and a price of ₦ 510,556.
