Toyota RAV4 Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Toyota RAV4 cars have increased during the last 6 months. The average price in February was of ₦ 12,296,589. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at ₦ 12,465,781 during March. During the following two months (April, May) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 23 % from ₦ 12,381,185 to ₦ 15,230,500. In the last two, the price has gone through a -6 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from ₦ 13,805,842 to ₦ 12,911,607 during June and July.
The average price for Toyota RAV4 has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2015, the average price is ₦ 2,806,334. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₦ 743,464) moving up till (₦ 7,117,019)in 2015. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 221 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 19 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₦ 11,172,117) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2018, 2019) with a price of ₦ 13,339,400.
The graph that displays the price for Toyota RAV4 cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 85 % more affordable than the average price (₦ 11,789,089). Next with a price of ₦ 3,753,534 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 13% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "50,000 - 100,000" priced at ₦ 7,065,187.
