Toyota Corolla Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Toyota Corolla cars have increased during the last 6 months. The average price in May was of ₦ 15,253,500. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at ₦ 15,616,486 during June. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from ₦ 15,434,993 to ₦ 16,197,625. The average price has risen 13 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (₦ 17,885,500) during September and October.
The average price for Toyota Corolla has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2019, the average price is ₦ 6,187,599. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₦ 949,712) moving up till (₦ 13,779,268)in 2019. During the next two years (2020, 2021) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 176 %. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -18 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample (₦ 14,523,420) and the the last two years (2022, 2023) with a price of ₦ 11,950,000.
The graph that displays the price for Toyota Corolla cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 77 % more affordable than the average price (₦ 17,893,000). Next with a price of ₦ 4,214,500 and a mileage range of "10,000 - 25,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 8% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "50,000 - 100,000" priced at ₦ 11,764,625.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Toyota Corolla cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 97 % less expensive than the average market price (₦ 17,893,000) followed by "Petrol" priced at ₦ 1,173,075. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 93 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of ₦ 546,667.
