Toyota Corolla Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Toyota Corolla cars have increased during the last 6 months. The average price in March was of ₦ 9,676,625. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at ₦ 10,138,750 during April. During the following two months (May, June) the average selling price rose somewhat going from ₦ 9,907,688 to ₦ 11,211,438. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₦ 10,559,563 to ₦ 10,824,690 during July and August.
The average price for Toyota Corolla has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2015, the average price is ₦ 2,712,898. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₦ 784,475) moving up till (₦ 6,215,000)in 2015. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 150 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 24 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₦ 8,988,204) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2018, 2019) with a price of ₦ 11,186,608.
The graph that displays the price for Toyota Corolla cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 77 % more affordable than the average price (₦ 10,483,752). Next with a price of ₦ 3,352,500 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 7% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at ₦ 6,368,375.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Toyota Corolla cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 89 % less expensive than the average market price (₦ 10,483,752) followed by "Diesel" priced at ₦ 7,500,000. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 28 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Petrol" with a price of ₦ 1,158,679.
